An evening of music and comedy

Lovers of Hindi film sings can expect to hear many of their favourite songs as one of the most popular musicians perform in Auckland later in the year.

Vinod Rathod, who became popular with ‘Nayak Nahi, Khalnayak Hoon Main’ (Khalnayak) ‘Bole to Bole’ (Munna Bhai MBBS) will perform at the Logan Campbell Centre in Auckland on October 7, 2012.

‘Aisi Deewangi’ (Deewana), ‘Yeh Mere Humsafar’ (Baazigar) and ‘Dholi Taro Dhol Baje’ (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) are also among his popular numbers.

Umesh Sharma, Director of U A International Limited, which is organising the concert, said that Raju Srivastava, who is an equally accomplished performer, will also entertain the audience.

“Vinod Rathod has more than 3000 songs to his credit, known for his superb rendition of the songs of Kishore Kumar and those composed by Rahul Dev Burman.

“Raju Srivastava has been an excellent TV artiste, making people laugh non-stop. His presence will add value to the show,” he said.
