The annual Veterans Soccer Tournament will see defending Champions Sydney Ba in full force.
Led by former Fiji and Suva Rep Shailendra Lal, the team is determined to display outstanding football from its pool of fine Fiji veteran talent.
The past year was successful for Sydney Ba, particularly in the Over 40s Division as they won the Veterans tournament in New Zealand, the Sydney Macarthur District League, the Australian Sanatan Cup and the Australia Fiji Soccer Association (AFSA) Battle of the Giants.
They were finalists at the Over 35s of Veterans Soccer Tournament held in New Zealand.
The hard working officials and the backbone of the Sydney Ba Veterans team include Navin, Umesh, Anish and Sachin (Pulle) are proud of their consistent performance and are determined to keep up the winning trend.
From their perspective, the Veterans Soccer Tournament is all about meeting old friends, having fun and witnessing some old talents displayed at the Centre Park in Mangere.
