Discourse on Hinduism in Auckland

Followers of Hindu faith and those keen on understanding the world’s oldest religion and its practices would have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge at a Discourse in South Auckland.

Swami Laxman Dass Maharaj will conduct the nightly discourse at the Skipton Hall (Skipton Street, Mangere) from December 19 to December 23 from 7 pm to 930 pm.

He is the Founder of Vishwa Shanthi Ashram, which has its headquarters in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh (India) and branches in many parts of the world, including New Zealand.

Hailing from a religious orthodox family, he started preaching when he was just seven years of age.

Since then, he has travelled all over the world, praying for the welfare of people.

Swami Laxman Dass conducts Yagna at every Kumbh Mela, which is held once in three years. The event, held in May this year was attended by a large number of devotees from New Zealand.

Prior to arriving in New Zealand, he conducted a Yagna in Ayodhya for a family in Canada.

He has proposed to perform 108 Yagna in Ayodhya in November 2017.
