The Nav Durga Society is seeking funds for the construction of a Temple and Community Hall complex in Flat Bush, South Auckland.

Founder-President Sunita Devi said that the estimated cost of the Project is $3.5 million, of which the cost of land would be about $1.5 million.

“The Complex would comprise a number of services, facilities and amenities for use by the community. As a registered charity, our Society aims to build a better future for future generations. Our mission is to help individuals who are challenged by infirmity, disability, poverty and social circumstances.”

Ms Devi said that the long-term objective of the Society is to assist in developing stronger, resourceful and more confident New Zealand communities by providing a platform for public change.

“Our Society is open to all, irrespective of their ethnicity. We welcome cash donations which can be remitted to our account at Westpac (Number 03-0219 0640475 00),”she said.
