Every living being on this planet is precious and must be considered with respect and love, says Shristy Gupta, our Model of the Fortnight.Living by the true meaning of ‘Shristy’ (creation), she is an ardent supporter of the ‘People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA), a Norfolk, Virginia (US) based animal rights organisation.
She believes that every living being is precious and hence must be treated with compassion.
It is therefore little surprise that Shristy is a vegetarian and enjoys quality time with people, including her parents, family and friends.
Born and raised in Mumbai, Shirsty’s world has a share of IT (her profession), modelling and show business (her ambition) and children (her passion). She credits her parents for her success thus far in life and career.
“I never thought that I would be lucky to play in every field into which I ventured. I love ‘print modelling’ and was fortunate to have been associated with many fashion brands in India,” she said.
Shristy is currently the Brand Ambassador for Aqua Jewels in New Zealand, which makes her adore the best things in life.
Representing India at the Beauty International 2013 contest held in Thailand as the title winner of ‘Miss India Face of Beauty International’ was a proud moment in her life.
“It was a dream come true; and I made it to the top five talent competition. I could not have been happier and could not have asked for more,” she said.
Shristy is keen to support ‘Save the Girl Child Foundation’ in India because of the cause that it represents and propagates.
