Excitement over Awards Night ceremony

The Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards 2011 (IBA) Presentation Ceremony, scheduled to be held at Sky City Convention Centre on Monday, November 14, 2011 is gathering momentum, with an increasing number of queries being received for tables and individual tickets.

About 700 persons representing a cross-section of the business community, including manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, exporters, importers, consultants and professionals are expected to attend the event.

The programme will commence at 5 pm with an exhibition of the products and services provided by our sponsors, cocktails and networking at the Promenade and Marlborough Rooms adjacent to the main Convention Centre. The Awards function will begin at 625 pm.

Chefs at Sky City are creating a Special Indian Menu not only to represent the best of Indian cuisine that finds favour with people of all ethnicities, tastes and style, but also to reflect the main purpose of the event, namely to celebrate the success of everything that is Indian.

Executive Chef Paul Doyle and his team are currently testing a number of items from which they would structure a menu that would be qualitative, innovative and sumptuous.

Tables seating ten persons each ($1500 plus GST per table) and individual tickets ($150 plus GST per ticket) are available. Please email your requirements to editor@indiannewslink.co.nz

The cost includes Cocktails and Dinner.

Prime Minister John Key, Trade Minister Tim Groser, Opposition Leader Phil Goff, Indian High Commissioner Admiral Sureesh Mehta, Anthony Healy and Alan Young, respectively Director and Regional Managing Partner Northern of BNZ Partners will be among our Guests of Honour.

A Panel of Judges, independent of Indian Newslink, is currently evaluating entries received in various categories. Finalists and winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation Ceremony.

Exhibition Services

Mt Wellington based Display Ways Limited with proven expertise in creating exhibition booths and an extensive range of equipment and products is the organisation that would design, construct and provide exhibition booths to our Sponsoring companies.

The standard booths, complete with electrical fittings and basic furniture would enable our sponsors to showcase their products and services. Apart from showcasing their products and services, a few sponsors may announce specials at the event.

Spy Glass

Since we launched the Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards in 2008, Spy Glass has been our ‘Audio-Visual arm,’ providing an increasing array of services to match the growing sophistication and needs of the event.

The Company has a variety of equipment that range from state-of-the-art sound and light systems, live projection of the programme on large television screens for easy viewing by guests and a host of other services.

The Promenade at Sky City connects the Marlborough Rooms, the Convention Centre, Grand Hotel and other facilities at its massive complex.
