Yogesh Mistry, Director of Pragma Fashions based in Hamilton belongs to a family that boasts of combined experience of more than 65 years, of which 39 years were acquired in Fiji. Pragma is a brand name known as a manufacturer, wholesaler and importer for more than 26 years.
“Pragma Fashions is Hamilton’s first Indian wear store and our ability to cater to the needs of our customers is fortified by our Frankton based factory. Our growing list of customers with varied tastes, styles, preferences and income helps us to understand the evolving trends in the market and prepare accordingly,” he said.
Mr Mistry believes that businesses should not only be proactive to the changing needs of customers but should not compromise on quality.
“As well as advertising in the local media, we constantly update our customers of new arrival and specials through text messages and the social media. Our friendly staff provide personalised service to customers, helping the company to grow and expand,” he said.
Mr Mistry said that he travels around the world a number of times during the year for selection and purchase of items, with Europe and India as the favourite destinations.
“Our prices range from lower to the top end but this does not affect our product quality. We have an extensive range of items, from basics to wedding wear,” Mr Mistry said.
