Explore inner treasures with visiting Guru

Philosophers, scholars and religious leaders say that discovery of the inner self is a sure way to free the society of ailments and conflicts.

According to them, such self-realisation also enables people to deal with each other without the trappings of manmade barriers of economic, social and religious status.

However, materialistic pursuits and modern lifestyle often preclude people from seeking such self-realisation on their own.

They need guidance through masters who have achieved higher planes of learning, and more importantly those who inspire piety and confidence.

Inspiring Master

New Zealanders will shortly have the benefit of such a master, visiting Auckland next month.

‘Science of Spirituality’ Head Sant (Saint) Rajinder Singh will speak at a Seminar and address two public meetings.

The Seminar, on ‘Meditation,’ will be held on April 16 at 2 pm, followed by the public lecture on ‘Peace through Spiritual Growth’ at 7 pm at Langham Hotel (89 Symonds Street) in Auckland City.

Sant Rajinder will deliver his second public address on ‘Explore Inner Treasures’ on April 18 at the same venue at 6 pm.

Participants would have the choice of being initiated into meditation (on the ‘Inner Light and Sound’) after the public meetings.

Multi-faith Body

Science of Spirituality is a multi-faith spiritual organisation dedicated to love, unity and peace, under the patronage of Sant Rajinder.

According to the organisation’s website, his life and work constitute a continuous journey of love and selfless service.

“He has helped people from all walks of life connect to their true selves by teaching them the art of meditation. Follow his travels throughout the world and you will discover that his message gleams with the principles of human unity, spiritual fellowship, and selfless service,” the website said.

Global recognition

Sant Rajinder is internationally recognised for his work toward promoting inner and outer peace through spirituality.

He is a recipient of five honorary doctorates in recognition of his efforts to promote spiritual education throughout the world.

Born in India and educated as a scientist, Sant Rajinder has a clear understanding of mysticism and science.

He received his spiritual education from two of India’s greatest spiritual Masters, namely Sant Kirpal Singh (1894–1974) and Sant Darshan Singh (1921-1989). He obtained his postgraduate degree in US, followed by a distinguished career in science and communications for 20 years.

His training in both of these disciplines has helped him express age-old mystical teachings in clear, logical language.

Renowned author

“His books and articles are available in fifty languages; his talks are heard worldwide through radio, television, and live internet broadcasts. His recent books include ‘Meditation as Medication for the Soul,’ ‘Spark of the Divine,’ ‘Spiritual Pearls for Enlightened Living,’ ‘Silken Thread of the Divine,’ ‘Inner and Outer Peace through Meditation’, and ‘Empowering Your Soul through Meditation.’ As founder of Darshan Education Foundation, Sant Rajinder has established 17 Darshan Academies in India and in South America integrating meditation and a spiritual curriculum into a traditional academic environment,” the website said.
