Trustees, Priests and those involved with Hindu Temples and Hindu associations would have an opportunity to meet, exchange information at a meeting scheduled to be held at the end of this month.
Yogi Divine Society of New Zealand is hosting the event called, ‘Hindu Organisations, Temples and Associations) HOTA Forum, which will be held from 1230 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, June 30 at Mahatma Gandhi Centre located at 145 New North Road in Eden Terrace.
Forum Coordinator Kirti Pajapati and Secretary Mamta Bhikha hoped that this would become an annual event, enabling those concerned to network and plan for the brighter future of Hindu Communities in New Zealand.
“We recognise and acknowledge that differences many exist between groups on practices and beliefs but we also believe that all groups share the Hindu values.
“We would like to at least five representatives from each Hindu Temple, Trust or Organisation to attend the Forum. We would be grateful if we can be informed of the names of persons attending on or before June 15, 2013,” she said.
