Free Smear Test at StoddardClinic

Did you know that in New Zealand approximately 160 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and 60 women die of it every year?

The effect is devastating on families. Regular cervical screening is the best way to detect early signs of cervical cancer.

It has been recommended that women over 40 and those who are of Maori, Pacific or Asian descent should have cervical smear tests every three years.

At Mt Roskill Healthcare, we are passionate about womens health and will be running a Free Cervical Smear Clinic on Saturday February 22 from 930 am to 3 pm at our Stoddard Road Clinic (located at 20 Stoddard Road, next to the Pharmacy and across the car park from McDonalds).

Think of the women in your life. She is often a mum, daughter, aunty, cousin, wife and grandmother.

Let them know about the importance of having regular cervical smears. Ladies, do it for yourself and your family. It could save your life!
