The Goan community in Auckland would have another opportunity to get together and have fun at the ‘Grand Carnival Dance’ being held this month.
GOANZ Association is organising the event at Our Lady of Assumption Church Hall (130 Church Street, Onehunga) on Saturday, February 18 from 730 pm.
Association President Christopher Correa said the forthcoming event would enable members to generate goodwill and friendship with fellow Konkani peers in the New Year.
“We are keen to promote our Goan culture and traditional values among the people of Auckland. The new Committee has pledged to be more transparent and accountable to the members,” he said.
Tickets, priced at $ 10 (including Goan food) are available with the members of the Committee.
