Rare Opportunity

Mother Teresa Interfaith Committee Chairman Wenceslaus Anthony said that New Zealanders would have the good fortune of listening to a great personality at two important events in Auckland this November.

“The intellectual and historical legacy of Dr Gopalkrishna Gandhi being the grandson of the Father of the Nation and the first Governor General of Independent India gave him an opportunity to be privy to the lore by bonds of kinship. He also had access to a range of persons and sources by dint of his ambassadorial, diplomatic, gubernatorial and authorial roles,” he said.

More information about Mr Gandhi and details of his visit will appear in our ensuing editions.
