Help Jambo, save the tribe and the jungle!

Auckland, June 12, 2019

Jungle Jambo is an exciting new interactive musical stage show for children, where the audience becomes the stage and integrates fully with the show and storyline.

It will be held from July 16 to July 20, 2019 at the Herald Theatre, located Aotea Centre in the Central Business District, Auckland July 16 to July 20, 2019.

What makes this show unique is that everyone in the audience (the tribe) is given an African styled hand drum irrespective of the number of people in the audience.

Challenges and obstacles

Jungle Jambo is a story about a little monkey named Jambo who takes on the challenge to gather a tribe and teach his music to save the jungle from a railway being built through it. Jambo encounters certain obstacles and the question is will he succeed?

The audience becomes Jambo’s tribe and soon he realised that together, as one, he can achieve so much more.

The tribe becomes part of Jambo’s journey to stop the railway destroying the jungle.

The show carries inspiring themes such as “you can do it, “Actions speak louder than words “and “together as one. “

Can you imagine the entire theatre playing music together!
