New Zealand’s Muslim community will meet for their first national convention on October 24 and 25 in Auckland.

Building Strong New Zealand Muslim Families will be the theme of the two-day conference organised by the Federation of Islamic Associations (FIANZ) to enable “Muslims of all nationalities and ethnicities to come together and discuss ways and means of promoting Islamic values.”

It will be held at the Wesley Community Centre, with separate programmes for women and children at other venues.
