The Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards 2009 Night, due to be held tomorrow (November 16), promises to be a grand spectacle.

With more than 425 guests expected to attend the Gala Black Tie Dinner Awards Presentation Night at the Stamford Plaza Hotel in Auckland City, it would be one of a kind for the Indian business community.

The Awards Night has set a record as a ‘sold-out event,’ with more than 75 latecomers unable to obtain tickets.

The hotel is making extensive makeover to the lobby area, complete with a specially constructed stage, floodlights and large screens for live-feed of the programme to enable all guests to watch the proceedings with ease.

Prime Minister John Key, Opposition Leader Phil Goff, Waitakere Mayor Bob Harvey and Manukau Mayor Len Brown will be Guests of Honour at the dinner, which will be attended by a host of businesses and professionals.

Among them would be manufacturers, retailers, restaurateurs, exporters, business consultants, bankers, investment advisors, accountants, lawyers, engineers, healthcare givers, finance companies, finance and insurance brokers and other service providers.

John Campbell of TV3 and Campbell Live will be the Master of Ceremonies.

A DVD covering the programme and the Awards Presentation ceremony will be available for businesses and individuals on November 25, details of which can be obtained by calling (09) 5336377.Email: info@indiannewslink.co.nz
