The lobby of the Hotel will undergo extensive changeover to accommodate 400 guests attending the event.

Stamford Plaza Auckland General Manager Peter Gee said there was excitement among the management and staff of the Hotel as the Award Night approaches.

“We now know that it will be a great event,” he said.

“Our preparations are now in full swing and we are looking forward to showcasing all that we can offer in what will be a different type of hotel within the hotel,” he said.

Mr Gee said that it would be the first time since the Hotel had used the entire lobby area for a private function of this type.
