In the fiercely competitive world of Bollywood, parental support is not only important but also imperative, as proved by a rising star.

Such support, coming from a celebrity star, has added value, helping young aspirants to achieve their goals.

Shraddha Kapoor, the darling daughter of Shakti Kapoor is one of them.

“He is not only the Best Dad in India but the whole world,” she exclaimed, speaking to Indian Newslink.

“He is extremely supportive of my career. He is affectionate and warm and pampers me a lot. Whenever I feel down and out, he is there to comfort and encourage me to carry on. He is forever calm and collected,” she said.

Shraddha said Shakti is a ‘down-to-earth’ father and that he is kind to everyone he meets.

“He is highly disciplined; he is a Gem. Of course, I love my mom (Shivangi) as well,” she said.

Shraddha said her latest film, Luv ka The End marked a vital phase in her life and career.

“I enjoyed working in this film and dad was very happy with my performance.”

Was she nervous?

“No, not while doing the film. But I was speechless and nervous when I met Amitabh Bachchan uncle for the first time on the floor of Teen Patti. But I soon got over it,” she said.

Shraddha was full of praise for Yash Raj Films.

“This is the only film company that constantly meets the changing taste of the public. They never compromise on quality, which is why this company is an icon of Bollywood,” she said.
