An Apology

It has been bought to the attention of Indian Newslink that the article “Seven officials face 110 fraud charges,” that appeared in our October 1 2011 issue, contained inaccuracies as to the relationship between Motor Trade Finances Limited (“MTF”) and the parties charged by the Serious Fraud Office.

Our Report incorrectly stated that the accused were officials of MTF.  It also contained the suggestion that there may have been wrongdoing on the part of MTF. 

None of the parties charged by the Serious Fraud Office are employees, officers or directors of MTF.  Indian Newslink accepts that there has been no wrongdoing on the part of MTF or any of its employees, officers or directors and unreservedly apologises to MTF for any suggestion that there was.
