Tinsel Town dance drama due
Love, passion, pathos, everything in fact that makes life interesting will be presented on stage as show business so unique to Indians comes to town next month.
Indiance Bollywood, a local dance group will present Bollywood Express at the ASB Theatre (Aotea Centre) on July 5 and at the Wellington Town Hall on July 17.
Organisers said it is a story woven around dreams and romance culminating in inescapable destiny.
“This performance will conquer hearts as the previous show held in May did. Bollywood Express is a spectacle that would entertain the entire family,” they said.
Bollywood Express, enriched by a mixture of tragedy and comedy, boasts of beautiful choreography.
It follows the lives of three orphans and what they are able to accomplish in their life with a little help from Destiny.
The organisers said the cast includes dancers aged between five and 25 and that they have been undergoing vigorous training to reach up to professional standards.
Established by four teenagers five years ago with 23 students, Indiance Bollywood has grown to account for 80 performers with a passion for dance.
The organisers said they would donate a part of the proceeds of the programme to the Starship Hospital.
