This Award recognises a successful medium-sized business, classified as having 11 to 25 full-time employees.

The Finalists were:

1.      DPRA Group – Nando’s Auckland and Wellington

2.      Toys R Fun

The Winner: Toys R Fun

Judges’ Comments:

We note that significant and necessary alterations to the company structure have allowed Toys R Fun to cope with the worst effects of the recession and look towards enhanced profitability from 2010 onwards.

New store structures should enable further growth and improvement.

A realistic approach to the business has been taken with a strong focus on numbers and profits.

We commend Managing Director Neil Raniga for being able to grow the business in a tough retail market.
