Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has just had a media conference at the Auckland Hospital before leaving for home for the first time with her Partner Clarke Gayford and their new-born baby.

Ms Ardern announced to the waiting media that the baby has been named ‘Neve Te Aroha Ardern Gayford.’

Finding a Name

“We struggled to decide on the name for many months. But we decided to wait for the baby to be born before taking a decision,” she told reporters.
