Let a million flowers of love blossom

From its humble beginnings in Epsom in 1991, ‘Buds and Bows’ has grown to be one of the leading suppliers of fresh flowers to some of Auckland’s most discerning businesses, including inner city five-star Hotel, Pullman Auckland.

With a strong reputation for delivering impeccably fresh bouquets, luxurious pamper packs and outstanding corporate and function displays, it is no surprise to hear that their expertise also lie in the field of matrimony.

Passionate connection

Let-a-million-flowers--Special-flowers-for-special-occasions“We have a true belief that a person’s wedding is one of the most important moments of their life”, says owner Adrienne Patterson.

“Because of this belief, both I and my team are passionate in giving each and every detail of this day extra special attention.”

In a competitive wedding market, it is important to stay ahead of the trends and stand out from the crowd.

Buds and Bows constantly strive to stay ahead of the latest styles in decorative pieces and designer floral arrangements.

This approach sees them exceed their clients’ expectations on a regular basis.

Bridal bouquets

Not only content in creating floral masterpieces, Buds and Bows also look after the design of the bridal bouquets, attendants flowers, wedding cake floral designs, as well as a vast range of table top adornments.

They also can add a little sparkle to your big day with fairy light curtains behind the bridal table, chair covers and coloured chair sashes.

Let a million flowers- Flowers and Chanderlier“We have been lucky to be involved with a number of Indian weddings over the years,” Adrienne said and added, “It is such an amazing experience to be part of.  So much colour to behold!”

“The families are a joy to work with in these instances. With everyone working together to create a vision the Bride and Groom will be pleased with.”

Sound advice

So what advice can Buds and Bows give to newly engaged couples in the midst of their wedding plans?

1) Be prepared. Weddings take a long time to organise so try not to overwhelm yourself and chip away at your tasks a day at a time.

2) Talk floral arrangements once your wedding dress is selected and the colour theme decided.  This will help in creating your floral colour schemes.

3) Collect pictures of special things that appeal to you.  It may be a picture of a flower, a full bouquet, or even just a look that took your eye.  By supplying visuals, it will be easier for your florist to develop these ideas and create something unique for your wedding day.

Free Event

You can meet Adrienne and Marc (Buds and Bows Creative Director) at Pullman Auckland’s ‘Wedding Open Day’ on Sunday, February 22, 2015.

A free event, open to everyone, you are invited to join them to see examples of their designs and receive advice and inspiration from the experts themselves for your big day.  They are your one stop shop when it comes to weddings and events.
