East Auckland based Link2 Group won the ‘Supreme Business Excellence Award’ at the Westpac South East Region Awards Ceremony held at the Vodafone Events Centre on Wednesday, September 17, 2018.
Employer of the Year too
The Group also won the ‘Employer of the Year,’ a category Award at the Ceremony.
Legal Associates Barristers & Solicitors were among the three other finalists in this Category and in the ‘People’s Choice’ Category.
Tribute to Staff
Link2 Group Chairman & Managing Director said that employees were the pillar of strength and that their hard work has been critical to the success of the Group.
Link2 Group comprises Link2 Services, the flagship and Link2 Solutions, the former providing logistics services and the latter an in-house warehousing facility.
Platform for Recognition
Chief Executive Rahul Sirigiri said that the Awards Programme is a platform for recognition and exposure in the industry.
“It also gives you understanding of your own business, where we are, what we are and what others think of you. We are sure we will grow more from this.”
Auckland Business Chamber Chief Executive Michael Barnett said that the winners and all entrants are businesses that are not only brave enough to discover what they are doing well through the entry process, but also in allowing others to judge them and learn from them. “They are to be celebrated,” he said.
