Malaysian troupe for Tamil New Year celebrations

In Auckland on May 4 and Wellington on May 11, 2019

Tamil and Tamil culture enthusiasts can expect an evening of spectacular and multi-talented performances by a famous group from Malaysia at Tamil New Year Celebrations to be held in Auckland and Wellington over the next two weekends.

Local singers and dancers will also perform at the two events.

Auckland Event

Kuala Lumpur based ‘Vehaara Arts’ will present a series of items including modern and classical dances at ‘Tamil Puththaandu Vizha 2019’ organised by the Auckland Tamil Association on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 6 pm at Freemans Bay Community Hall, 52 Hepburn Street, Auckland City.

Tickets for the event, priced at $20 per adult (plus booking fee of $1.27) and $10 (plus booking fee of $1.27) for each child between five and twelve years of age can be purchased at www.eventbrite.co.nz

Wellington Event

The Troupe will also perform at the ‘Chithirai Vizha 2019’ celebrations of the Wellington Muthamil Sangam at 530 pm at Memorial Theatre located in the Kelburn Campus of Victoria University on Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Tickets, priced at $65 per family (plus booking fee of $5.13), $25 (plus booking fee of $2.32 per person ) per adult and $15 (plus booking fee of $1.63) per child can be purchased at  www. eventbrite.co.nz.
