If the whole world is a stage, there are people who would love to keep dancing every moment of the day, irrespective of the location and make the best out of life.
People like Sarah Fay, our Model of the Fortnight.
This 22-year-old woman of European and Maori mix has a penchant for show business with a special interest in dancing, modelling, choreography – everything in fact that takes her to people and places.
“I have always been keen to be part of anything that is creative and positive. Life is a dance from one stage to another. It is also a journey that should be enjoyed,” she said.
Like most people who live to love, Sarah takes one thing at a time and makes the best of it with a smile.
“I am not sure where God will take me next but I am willing to explore and share what I love with the rest of the world,” she said.
Sarah’s favourites are Hip Hop, Dance Hall, Burlesque, Break Dance, Jazz and Lyrical.
She loves every opportunity that comes by to work with creative people.
“I believe this passion is a part of my DNA!” she exclaimed.
Born and raised in Rotorua, Sarah is now an Auckland resident, pursuing dance, modelling, acting, participating in events and promotions and sharing airtime on the radio.
Five years ago she obtained a Certificate in Interior Design from the Rotorua based Waiariki Institute of Technology and in the following year a Certificate in Performance of Dance and Drama Minor from Excel School of Performing Arts, Auckland.
She established the Inspiring New Zealand’s Performing Young Artists in 2008 and directed the dance crew for its first two years.
She is now a freelance dancer, performer, tutor, choreographer and model.
Her love for the radio has taken her to ‘Flava,’ where she is involved in events.
