New Team arrives with hope

Rakiraki Masters Soccer Club, established in August 2013, will be competing for the first time at the S M Singh Annual International Veterans Tournament this year.

Its players and officials are former students of Penang Sangam High School and Rakiraki Public High School. While most of them reside in Auckland, the Team will include players from Rakiraki, Fiji and other places.

Some of the players are Ravi Kumar, Kamlesh Reddy, Riteshwan Naidu, Faizal Ali, Bal Suresh, Avinesh Prakash, Mukesh Goundar, Mukesh Pillay, Raghva Nair, Kamlesh Ram, Ronesh Nadan (Christchurch), Shalesh (Pilu) Goundar (Wellington), Manoj Kumar (Wellington), Anand Naidu (Hamilton), Rajesh (Balawa) Nair (Fiji), Avinesh Mudliar (Fiji), Pramesh Mudliar (Fiji), Analesh Nand (Fiji), Shaneel (Maijra) Chandra (Fiji), Sarvin (Fiji), Anand (Gillet) Mudliar (Aussie).

President Yangtesh Raj, officials and players of Rakiraki Masters invite members of the Rakiraki community to come along and cheer the team.
