The Nandan Pooja Committee is organising a series of events to mark its annual Sarbojonin Durgotsav at the Blockhouse Bay Community Centre (524 Blockhouse Bay Road, Blockhouse Bay) in Auckland.
The programme will commence with Deity installation at 730 pm on October 19.
The event on October 20 will commence at 10 am with Mohashosthi Pooja, Mohashoptomi Pooja, Mohaosthomi Pooja, Prasad and lunch. Activities in the evening will include cultural items and dinner.
Similar prayers and events will be held on October 21 from 10 am.
The Committee will conduct Lakshmi Pooja at 730 pm on October 27 at the Kohia Teachers Training Centre, (78 Epsom Avenue, Mt Eden), entry to which would be through Gate Two.
