Property Category Sponsor

We are happy to announce that Auckland based Reesby & Company has agreed to sponsor the Business Excellence in Property Investment Category of the Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards (IBA) 2011.

Reesby & Company is the largest financial broker in New Zealand, with an impressive record of involvement as a financier of some of the largest property development projects implemented throughout the country. These include parks, large corporate offices, hotels, apartments and rest homes.

However, a majority of its transactions range from $1 million to $20 million.

According to Director Martyn Reesby, the company has sourced more than $8 billion in funding for property investors and developers since its inception more than 17 years ago.

Reesby & Company has unique banking and finance contacts both in New Zealand and overseas. The Company also has its own private lending vehicle for first and second mortgages.

“We are pleased to sponsor the ‘Business Excellence in Property Investment Category of the Indian Newslink IBA 2011,” he said.

In view of the increasing importance of the Indian business community as investors and developers of properties in New Zealand, Indian Newslink introduced this Category as a part of IBA 2011.

This Award recognises a successful business, which takes financial risk in the purchase, improvement, marketing and tenanting of real property, both residential and commercial.

Business Excellence in Property Development does not include real estate sales, leasing and property management agencies.

The independent Panel of IBA Judges seeks to understand the business competitive advantage and consider evidence on how that has enabled the business to achieve an outstanding return on investment.

Our next and final workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 between 4 pm and 6 pm at BNZ Partners, Room 9 (Level 8), Deloitte Centre, 80 Queen Street, Auckland City. Convenor of the Judging Panel and BNZ officials will be present to mentor entrants on relevant issues.
