A Road Show to facilitate purchase of property in India will be held in Auckland on October 30 and 31, 2010.
The two-day event, scheduled to be held at Alexandra Park in Greenlane will showcase available options in India, with the properties developed and promoted by Jaypee Greens, a subsidiary of the Jaypee Group.
The Group, with annual turnover of about $US 2.25 billion, is one of the largest companies of its type in India.
Wishtown is the name of the project being developed by Jaypee Greens in the Noida area. The 1160-acre project offers independent homes and luxury apartments, international standard healthcare, entertainment centres, two golf courses (18 and Nine Hole) hotels, multiple shopping complexes, corporate offices and an IT Park.
Vishal Gupta, Director of Sydney based Concept Tree, which is promoting the property in Australia and New Zealand, said that visitors to the Road Show will be able to purchase properties directly from Jaycee Greens..
“A number of options including apartments, villas and townhouses will be available for intending buyers. Officials of an Indian bank are likely to be present at the event to facilitate Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) keen on making purchases,” he said.
He said his company, along with Jaypee Greens, will assist investors with documentation and wherever possible mortgage loans, subject to lending criteria and successful completion of the requisite formalities.
Mr Gupta said that the concept of the Road Show was to provide not only information on the existing property under development but also enable NRIs in New Zealand to complete their transactions with ease and convenience.
“Investors will be able to meet the sales team and consult with experts before deciding on investing in the property. Investors with Jaypee Greens have achieved high returns on their properties in the past. The Company’s properties are well located with good infrastructure facilities and are appropriately priced. The Noida area is one of the fastest growing locations in India,” he said.
Property options include Golf course living, close to lakes and within India’s first Sports City. Jaypee Greens Sport city will be hosting the first Formula One Race in October 2011, he added.
According to Mr Gupta, many NRIs were not aware of the property boom in India, orchestrated by exceptional economic growth.
“Indian property market is one of the fastest growing real estate markets in the world. Other than the high economic growth, increasing population, nuclear families, exodus to urban centres and infrastructure development have been other encouraging factors,” he said.
“As the real estate arm of the Group, Jaypee Greens, since its inception in 2000, has been been creating lifestyle experiences from building golf-centric premium residences and major townships to self-sustained mega cities.”
