Team Dreketi was founded in 2009 in North Shore, Auckland.
The Team won the Battle of Kings Veterans in its inaugural year, the Gopal Krishna Cup and the Winter League Knockout Plate in 2012.
Its overseas tours include Australia (Sydney) in 2011 and Fiji (Suva) in 2013. The Team hopes to tour the US this year.
Rajveen (Pappu) has been coaching and preparing Team Dreketi for the International Veterans Soccer Tournament 2014, scheduled to be held at Centre Park, Mangere in Auckland later this month.
Most of the players featured in the ‘Beyond System Limited Team Dreketi’ at the Suva Masters Tournament held at the ANZ Stadium in Suva in 2013 will play for the Team again along with a few new local faces.
