Tamilians to mark their New Year Day

A well-known artistes group from Malaysia will be performing at the Tamil New Year celebrations of the Auckland Tamil Association on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

The event will be held from 630 pm at Freemans Bay Community Centre located at 52 Hepburn Street in Auckland City.

Tickets priced at $10 per person for adults (children free entry) are now on sale.

Auckland Tamil Association President Vai Ravindran said the Malaysia group, ‘Vehaara Arts,’ is the title winner of the Best Classical Dance Academy Malaysia.

“The visiting artistes will present a stunning show and our own singer Ravi Muthumanikkam will also present a number of popular film songs,” he said.

RelianzTravels will give away tickets for two persons to Rotorua to the winners in a lucky draw, he added.

Tamil New Year Day was actually celebrated on April 14.
