Women in sports add value

Leading Chartered Accounting firm in the Retail and Service Sector, Michael Prasad Group Limited (MPG) is a major sponsor and supporter of Auckland Fiji Community Netball.

Last year, the Company sponsored a U17 team to travel and compete in the Fiji National Secondary Schools Competition in Suva. The team was placed third after losing to defending Champions Natabua Secondary School in the semi-finals in sudden death extra time.

The opportunity for our young netball players to travel and test their netball skills in a national tournament has drawn special praise.

The players also had the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister of Fiji, Frank Bainimarama.

Indian Sports Awards

MPG is delighted to extend its sponsorship with Indian Newslink Indian Sports Award. The company hopes that its sponsorship of the Indian Sports Awards will encourage more Indian girls to take up netball and excel at higher levels.

There are already plans for this year’s Auckland Fiji Community Netball U17 team to travel to Lautoka to play in the 2015 Fiji National Secondary Schools tournament.

The girls are training and are looking to better the results from last year.

Commitment to community

Sports sponsorship is an extension to the commitment made by MPG to supporting community initiatives that support and develop children.
