Special consular, legal, tax services for Pakistani community

People of Pakistani origin will have the benefit of a number of free services at a special meeting scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

The Meeting, organised by Pakistan Association of New Zealand (PANZ) will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm at Mount Albert War Memorial Hall, located at 773, New North Road, Mount Albert, Auckland.

Consular Service

Mariya Abdul Ghafoor, Head of Chancery at the Wellington based Pakistan High Commission will be present at the meeting to provide information and advice.

She will also endorse Powers of Attorney of members of the Pakistani community. It would be essential to bring your passport, original documents and other papers that may be required to complete the formalities.

PANZ organises this ‘Camp Office’ of the Pakistan High Commission in Auckland once in two months for the benefit of our members and those in the community.

Legal Advice

Working with Legal Associates Barristers & Solicitors, Haseeb Ashraf, a member of PANZ will provide free legal advice.

The firm conducts free Legal Clinics on most Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm at their offices located at Level 1, 31 East Tamaki Road, Papatoetoe. Prior registration is essential either by phone (09) 2799439 or Email: office@legalassociates.co.nz

It is not uncommon for people to experience legal problems but may not be sure as to how these can be tackled. The free Legal Clinic is a useful resource.

ERefund New Zealand Limited, an Auckland based company will provide advise on the New Zealand tax structure, the importance of compliance and related matters.
