Diverse groups promote Interfaith Spiritual Musical

Several musical groups will come together next week to promote an Interfaith Spiritual Concert in Auckland.

Called, ‘Sounds of Sacred,’ the event will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 730 pm at the Fickling Convention Centre, located at 546 Mt Albert Road, Three Kings.

Unity for Peace

Ravi Rudra of Sathya Sai International Organisation of New Zealand, who is one of the organisers said that the objective of the event is to bring together people in a spirit of oneness and peace.

“Music is a great unifier that brightens our lives and our world, where there is hunger for peace. Spiritual Music has always been a powerful way of uplifting, uniting and inspiring humanity. Music is a kind of universal language that harmonises and brings us all closer together,” he said.

The Performers

Monk Party, St Mark’s Parish Couples for Christ and Gospel Choir, Sikh Youth NZ, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification NZ, Chinmaya Mission, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sathya Sai International Organisation NZ and Sri Chinmoy Centre will share vocal and instrumental music drawn from Auckland’s many spiritual traditions at the forthcoming Programme.

“This will be an inspirational evening of meditative, peaceful music,” Mr Rudra said.

Tea and refreshments will be available afterward the Programme, he added.

Entry to the event is free and open to all.
