Police believe the death of a Te Awamutu man whose body was found inside a cardboard bale at a Hamilton factory was a ‘tragic accident.’
The body of Daniel Bindner, 40, was discovered by a worker at the OJI Fibre Solutions cardboard processing plant on June 28.
Police believe Mr Bindner, who had been sleeping rough, spent the night in a waste bin on June 21 and was accidentally picked up by a recycling truck the next morning, and was killed at some point in the recycling process.
